STEM experiences are not limited to the school day. Join this session as presenters share STEM event successes and snags. The presenters have planned and presented over 50 STEM family outreach events over 8 years. We will explore the process of designing and implementing interactive and fun stations for families. Come ready to roll up your sleeves to work on planning a STEM event for your organization! Participants will experience several activities; discuss the planning process; learn what to avoid; learn effective practices; and begin to plan their own STEM family outreach event.
